The opinion of the court was delivered by ROSEN, J.:

Philip A. Woodard appeals from the imposition of three life sentences with a mandatory minimum term of 25 years following his plea of guilty to three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. He contends that the sentences constitute cruel and unusual punishment under the United States Constitution and Kansas Constitution. We disagree and affirm the sentences.
