David McDaniel asks this court to reverse the Court of Appeals' decision affirming the sentence and restitution order imposed by the district court for his conviction of aggravated battery. McDaniel contends that the district court lacked jurisdiction to order restitution and violated his constitutional rights by imposing the highest sentence in the grid box assigned to his offense without the aggravating facts...
