In this appeal, we affirm the trial court's determination of paternity and child support award in this case of a recently emancipated young woman seeking judicial determination of her parentage. Because the Kansas Parentage Act allows a child to bring an action to determine a father-child relationship, despite any agreement to the contrary between the presumed father and the child's mother, we hold the parents' divorce decree did not bar this action.
