This case arises out of a denial of movant Jerry L. Rowland's K.S.A. 60-1507 motion after appointment of counsel and a preliminary hearing. Rowland attempts to pursue a claim that the evidence against him was insufficient, as well as alleging ineffective assistance of trial and appellate counsel.
