Jerry Alford appeals from the trial court's denial of his K.S.A. 60-1507 motion after appointing counsel and holding a nonevidentiary hearing. Alford argues that his attorney at the K.S.A. 60-1507 hearing was ineffective and that the matter should be remanded to the trial court with directions to appoint new counsel and hold an additional hearing.
