¶ 1 In December 2010, a jury found defendant, Nicholas Carlos Brooks, guilty of first degree murder of John Turnpaugh (720 ILCS 5/9-1 (West 2010)), and the trial court later sentenced defendant to 60 years in prison. He appealed, and this court affirmed....
