¶ 1 In November 2008, plaintiff, the Diocese of Quincy (Diocese), voted to end its association with defendant-counterplaintiff, the Episcopal Church (Church), due to certain theological disagreements. Thereafter, it realigned itself with another religious organization. Upon learning of the Diocese's decision to disassociate, the Church contacted National City Bank, n/k/a PNC Bank...
