¶ 1 The defendant, Monta Travis, was convicted of first degree (felony) murder (720 ILCS 5/9-1(a)(3) (West 2006)) and armed robbery (720 ILCS 5/18-2(a) (West 2006)), and was sentenced to concurrent prison terms of 45 years and 20 years, respectively.
