¶ 1 Following a bench trial, defendant Maceo Black was found guilty of the unlawful restraint of an 11-year-old boy, then sentenced to four years and six months in prison and required to register as a sex offender under the Sex Offender Registration Act (Sex Offender Act) (730 ILCS 150/1 to 12 (West 2006)).
