¶ 1 A jury found the defendant, Keith Mitchell, guilty of murder and aggravated battery, and this court affirmed the convictions. People v. Mitchell, No. 1-95-3766, 298 Ill.App.3d 1158, 250 Ill.Dec. 269, 738 N.E.2d 233 (July 13, 1998) (unpublished order under Supreme Court Rule 23).
