¶ 1 In January 2009, a grand jury indicted defendant, Terry Lloyd, with seven counts of criminal sexual assault under section 12-13(a)(2) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Criminal Code) (720 ILCS 5/12-13(a)(2) (West 2008)).
