Defendant, Roger Moore, was found guilty by a jury of delivery of a controlled substance and sentenced to seven years' imprisonment. 720 ILCS 570/401(d)(I) (West 2008). Defendant urges this court to consider whether statements he made to the trial court before his trial commenced, in which he indicated that he had not taken his medication on the day of trial or two days prior to trial...
