Following a jury trial, defendant Rama Carter was convicted of indecent solicitation of a child and sentenced to two years of sex offender probation. On appeal, defendant contends that: (1) the trial court committed reversible error when it failed to instruct the jury on two essential elements, i.e., defendant's specific intent to commit the offense and knowledge that the victim was less than 17 years old...
