Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County defendant, Laquita Calhoun, was found guilty of kidnaping and first degree murder, and sentenced to 7 years' imprisonment for kidnaping and 60 years' imprisonment for murder, with the sentences to be served consecutively.
