On October 26, 2007, the defendants, the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) through its Director, Erwin McEwen, denied plaintiff Daun Bolger's request to expunge an indicated report of medical neglect. On November 30, 2007, the plaintiff filed an action for administrative review in the circuit court of Kane County. On September 15, 2008, the trial court affirmed the DCFS decision.
