This case arises from the shooting of the victim, Magdaliz Rosaria, which occurred on September 8, 1997, at 1707 North Artesian Avenue in Chicago. Prior to her death, the victim lived at the aforementioned address with her boyfriend, the defendant, Cesar Munoz.
