These consolidated appeals arise from proceedings under plaintiff Geraldine New's February 18, 2005, single-count personal injury complaint against defendant Pace Suburban Bus Service. Plaintiff sought damages for injuries allegedly sustained to her back while she was a passenger on defendant's bus on March 4, 2004. Plaintiff claimed the bus stopped suddenly forcing her to fall into a pole and to the ground...
