Following a jury trial, defendant Johnny Macon was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse by use of force or threat of force and was sentenced to six years' imprisonment. On appeal defendant contends that the trial court improperly denied his motion to dismiss the indictment for failing to file within the statute of limitations.
