The Board of Trustees of the City of Calumet City Police Pension Fund (Board) appeals from a judgment of the Circuit Court of Cook County which reversed a decision of the Board that reduced the monthly benefit being paid to the plaintiff, Alan Kosakowski, as a consequence of a disability he sustained in the "line of duty" as a Calumet City police officer.
