Justice KARMEIER delivered the judgment of the court, with opinion:

At issue is whether defendant, Lewis Jackson, was denied a fair trial by the admission of evidence that his deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) profile was contained in a state database. We agree with the State, petitioner herein, that he was not. Further, we reject defendant's claims on cross-appeal that the trial court erred in denying his motion to quash arrest and suppress statements...
