In March 2006, the State charged defendant, Angela R. Felton, by information with four counts of forgery (720 ILCS 5/17-3(a)(2) (West 2006)). Pursuant to a plea agreement, defendant pleaded guilty to two of the four forgery counts. In July 2006, the trial court sentenced defendant to 24 months' probation and ordered her to pay $2,979.68 in restitution. In September 2006...
