Justice TURNER delivered the opinion of the court:

In June 2007, a jury found defendant, Dat Tan Ngo, guilty of two counts of controlled substance trafficking. In July 2007, the trial court sentenced him to 40 years in prison.

On appeal, defendant argues (1) the State failed to prove him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, (2) the prosecutor's closing argument was improper, and (3) he was deprived of a fair trial...
