Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Bureau County, defendant, Robert T. Lucas, Jr., was convicted of driving while his driver's license was revoked (625 ILCS 5/6-303(d) (West 2004)), unlawful use of a weapon by a felon (720 ILCS 5/24-1.1(a) (West 2004)), and armed violence (720 ILCS 5/33A-2(a) (West 2004)).
