Defendant Ernest King appeals from his convictions of two counts of robbery (720 ILCS 5/18-1 (West 2004)), one count of aggravated battery (720 ILCS 5/12-3 (West 2004)), and one count of residential burglary (720 ILCS 5/19-3 (West 2004)) against three different victims. On appeal, defendant argues that the trial court erred in refusing to try his offenses separately...
