Pigs give us bacon and ham. They can also give meat packers brucellosis. Lee Burress contracted brucellosis while working at IBP, Inc.'s meat-packing plant. He did not discover he had the disease until six years after he left IBP's employment. Soon thereafter, he filed a petition for workers' compensation benefits.
