The State appeals the dismissal of a delinquency petition after the juvenile court found the minor child, Z.S., did not commit two counts of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. Before appealing, the State moved for the juvenile court to expand its findings of fact and conclusions of law to determine whether Z.S. committed assault, a lesser-included offense, and the court refused, stating it had no authority to revisit its previous order.
