A jury found Walter David Phillips guilty of three counts of criminal attempt of enticing a child for indecent purposes (OCGA §§ 16-4-1; 16-6-5). The trial court sentenced Phillips to 45 years' imprisonment, with the first 30 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation.
