Appellant Brenda O'Connell and her adoptive sister, Catherine O'Connell, were jointly tried for malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault stemming from the strangulation death of their adoptive mother, Muriel O'Connell. A jury found the two sisters guilty on all counts, and we have already affirmed Catherine's convictions...
