Following a bench trial, Bobby Gene Valentine was convicted of trafficking in marijuana (OCGA § 16-13-31(c)). He appeals from that conviction, arguing that the trial court in erred in denying his motions to suppress because the traffic stop leading to his arrest was not supported by reasonable articulable suspicion, because the traffic stop was impermissibly expanded, and because he did not consent to the search of his vehicle.
