On May 6, 2008, a 1996 Chevrolet Sport Van carrying a driver and eight passengers left the roadway and crashed into a tree after the left front tire malfunctioned and the van's driver lost control, killing one of the passengers and injuring the others. Seven of those passengers (collectively, the appellants) brought seven separate lawsuits against Dallas Stewart d/b/a S & S Auto Sales ("S & S Auto"); who sold the van to its owner prior the crash...
