Following an automobile collision, Era Roberson and her husband, Justin Roberson (collectively "plaintiffs"), sued Robert Leone for personal-injury damages and sought uninsured motorist ("UM") benefits from State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company ("State Farm"), which provided a policy for the vehicle Era Roberson was driving at the time of the accident.
