In connection with a single incident, Christopher Tiegreen was indicted for aggravated assault, two counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony, false imprisonment, battery, sexual battery, and cruelty to a child in the third degree. He filed a plea of mental incompetency to stand trial, which was tried in a competency proceeding before a special jury.
