Steven Thomas Trapp appeals the trial court's denial of his motion to withdraw his nonnegotiated guilty plea to theft by shoplifting, for which the trial court sentenced him to serve ten years in confinement. Trapp contends that the plea was not knowingly and voluntarily entered and that his trial counsel was ineffective.
