A Cherokee County jury found Timothy Wayne Whitley guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery. Whitley appeals from the denial of his motion for a new trial, contending that the evidence was insufficient to enable the trier of fact to reject his claim of self-defense and convict him of the charged offenses. We disagree and affirm.
