A Gwinnett County judge found David Scott Zeger guilty of misdemeanor obstruction of a police officer, OCGA § 16-10-24(a). Zeger appeals from the denial of his motion for new trial, contending the evidence was insufficient to support his conviction, that his trial counsel was ineffective, and that the trial court erred in denying his motion to dismiss the accusation based upon the denial of a speedy trial.
