In a bifurcated trial, a Chatham County jury convicted Kenneth Ray Chatman, Jr., of armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Chatman was sentenced to life on the armed robbery, twenty years to run concurrent on the aggravated assault, fifteen years to serve consecutive to the armed robbery on the possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony...
