Ignacio Vergara was convicted of murder in the shooting deaths of Alejandro Santana and Francesco Saucedo and was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole. We find no error in the trial court's denial of his motion for new trial1 and, for the reasons that follow, we affirm in part.
