HINES, Justice.

Jason William Futch appeals the denial of his motion for new trial following his convictions for felony murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, in connection with the fatal shooting of Michael Weaver. His sole challenge is that his trial counsel was ineffective. Finding that the challenge is without merit, we affirm.1
