Jocelyn Harper contends she suffered brain damage after being exposed to high levels of carbon monoxide at her former place of employment, AutoZone. She sued Barge Air Conditioning, Inc., whose technician had serviced one of the store's two heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) units earlier in the day. At trial Harper presented circumstantial evidence and expert testimony that the elevated carbon monoxide levels were caused by the negligence...
