Joseph Pernice and Sang Duk Lee suffered fatal gunshot wounds in Muscogee County in 2003. Appellant Farnsworth Coleman, Jr., was convicted of and sentenced for the malice murder and aggravated assault of Pernice, as well as possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and two violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.
