BARNES, Judge.

Five women were assaulted in a college dormitory apartment in December 2002. Based on a DNA profile extracted from a tube of lip balm left at the scene, Ruben Fortune was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated sodomy, five counts of kidnapping, two counts of burglary, and two counts of aggravated assault. A jury convicted him on all counts in July 2004 and the trial court sentenced him to serve two consecutive life sentences plus sixty years...
