Nathaniel Fleeman and Juhmel Barnhart died as a result of a fire at their home. The men were renting their residential spaces from Lucy Dessesseau, who had leased the real property from its owner, Irvine Gordon. Dessesseau and Gordon were sued in connection with Fleeman's death by Fleeman's father,1 individually and as administrator of the estate.
