Following a drug sting operation, Kevin Joseph Green and three co-defendants were arrested and indicted for several offenses arising out of their attempt to purchase 100 pounds of marijuana from an undercover officer. Green was tried separately, and the jury found him guilty of attempted trafficking in marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
