This products liability action arose out of a tragic one-vehicle wreck that occurred in July 2001. Barbara Myers, a Georgia resident, was driving her grandchildren and several other individuals from Houston, Texas to Atlanta in a 1991 Ford Aerostar van when she lost control on a Texas highway.
