Rami Azzouz, M.D., a pediatrician, entered into an employment contract with Prime Pediatrics, P. C., that prohibited him from practicing pediatric medicine in a five-county area for two years should his employment terminate for any reason. After Azzouz announced that he intended to quit and start his own practice in the prohibited area, Prime brought suit against Azzouz and his new firm and sought an interlocutory injunction, which the trial court granted...
