In this medical malpractice action, Earl and Debra Houston appeal the trial court's dismissal of their complaint filed against Adelaide Posey, a registered nurse, and her employer, Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Inc. The trial court dismissed the complaint on the ground that the attached affidavit failed to establish the competency of the Houstons' expert and thus was legally insufficient under OCGA § 9-11-9.1.
