A Habersham County jury convicted Bobby Ray Dyer on one count of aggravated sexual battery (OCGA § 16-6-22.2) and one count of child molestation (OCGA § 16-6-4(a)). Dyer appeals from the denial of his motion for a new trial, arguing that he was denied effective assistance of counsel at trial, in violation of the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Georgia.
