Alton Hooks was charged with two counts of malice murder, two alternative counts of felony murder involving the same victims, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and one count of possession of a knife during the commission of a felony. The State did not file a notice of intent to seek the death penalty. A jury found Hooks guilty on all counts.
