Following a jury trial, Von Eric Brown was convicted of a single count each of rape (in violation of OCGA § 16-6-1) and false imprisonment (in violation of OCGA § 16-5-41). Brown now appeals from the trial court's denial of his motion for a new trial, claiming ineffective assistance of counsel and prosecutorial misconduct.
