STATE v. CRECY

Case No. 2D20-2580.

320 So.3d 807 (2021)

STATE of Florida, Petitioner, v. Terry Lewis CRECY, Respondent.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District.

Opinion filed April 7, 2021.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Ashley Moody , Attorney General, Tallahassee, and Kiersten E. Jensen , Assistant Attorney General, Tampa, for Petitioner.

Julianne M. Holt , Public Defender, and Deborah A. Goins , Assistant Public Defender, Tampa, for Respondent.

The State seeks a writ of certiorari, or in the alternative, a writ of prohibition. It wants us to quash the postconviction court's order granting Terry Lewis Crecy's motion to correct illegal sentence, entered in a juvenile resentencing proceeding. See Fla. R. Crim. P. 3.800(a). We have jurisdiction.
